Billing, Renewal, Cancellation & Refund Terms

Effective date: September 4, 2026
Last updated September 4, 2026

Subscription fees are charged in advance monthly or annually according to the accepted order, while the subscription commitment remains one year. Stripe is the intended payment processor. Stripe Billing is intended to administer recurring billing, and Stripe Tax is intended to support tax calculation and collection where HQDIRECTOR CORP has an active registration. Their use is subject to configuration and the applicable Stripe terms.

Payment, tax, and renewal

The customer authorizes charges for accepted subscriptions using the payment method captured for the account. Stripe handles complete card data; HQDIRECTOR CORP does not store it. HQDIRECTOR CORP remains responsible for determining its tax obligations, registrations, filings, and remittances unless it separately engages a filing service. Customers must provide accurate billing and exemption information and are responsible for applicable sales, use, value-added, withholding, or similar taxes other than taxes based on our net income. Subscriptions renew for another one-year term unless renewal is turned off before the renewal date.

Cancellation, refund, and nonpayment

A customer may request a full refund by canceling within 14 calendar days after the initial paid purchase or an annual renewal. After that period, cancellation turns off the next renewal, access continues through the paid term, and no partial or prorated refund applies except where law or an accepted order requires otherwise.

If payment fails, Stripe Smart Retries will be used and billing notifications will be sent during a seven-day grace period. If payment remains unresolved after that period, paid product access may be suspended while billing and recovery access remains available. Suspension for nonpayment does not automatically delete customer data.

A 30-day trial does not become paid service without captured payment and affirmative consent. No payment is due merely because a trial ends.
